I LOVE DISNEYLAND. I have been there three times this month already. And the park is decked out Halloween style. The first time Disney has done this (to my recollection).

I went for my birthday with Arlene. Just the two of us. NO KIDS. That was my best birthday ever. Good times with good company. And the most important people to me acknowledged my birthday. That was the cherry on the cake. I think what made it legendary was buying a Cinderella Big Fig and carrying it through the park from Sleeping Beauty's Castle to the car. Arlene said my face was bright, bright red! And the stupid comments wer overheard as we sailed past over park goers. Too funny.

Last week, I went with my family. That included, Eddie, the kids, and my parents. It was so much fun to spend the day with my loved ones at the happiest place on Earth. And I got to go on rides with my husband, instead of one of the children. That hasn't happened for a looooooooooooong time.

Happy, happy birthday, Baby!

Happy Birthday, EDDIE! You are 38 years old today. May the next 76 be even better.

In honor of his birthday (and mine since it is only four days away), I would like to turn over a new leaf. I have been given a new lease on life, so to speak. Instead of being fired from my job, I will be demoted. That is a brand new start. From that, I am going to stop crying, "POOR ME!" Anytime I start to play the victim, will somebody please slap the shit out of me? Call me on it. "HEY! You're doing it again! Knock it off!" I mean it is one thing to vent, but it is another to sit in my sorry stew and try to bring everyone down and agree how rotten my life is. BECAUSE IT IS NOT!!!

Amen
