YAY ME!

So, they called me this morning and I got the job. I called my supervisor-to-be that I got a hire date and he is pretty happy. I'm pretty happy. I wanted to scream when I got the news.

Mom took me to Lucille's Smokehouse to celebrate for tomorrow I diet. I need to lose 10 pounds so I can fit into my uniform!!

Emma keeps bugging me for a cell phone. She and Jarod share one at the moment (for emergencies, getting separated at Disneyland, gonna be late picking them up, etc) and now she wants her own. I told her when I get hired I would get her one. She wanted an iPhone and I told her OH HELL NO! My husband had to laugh at that. She will be lucky to get a hand-me-down.

Now the only "scary" thing is finding out what hours I will be working and who is gonna be home with the kids.

I have been trying to get my job back with my former employer. That has been a frustrating road. The latest news is ..... I passed the medical exam, but now I have to be "approved" and "that takes awhile." Whaddya mean I have to be "approved?!?!?!" Isn't passing the medical exam an APPROVAL!!?!?!?! Geez, this agency is STUPID! I have been trying and processing to get my job back since last SEPTEMBER 2008. I admit it is nice to still be home with my children, but Baby is broke and we can really use the income!

Other than that, summer is off to a slow start. Still have obligations like scouts, doctor's appointments, haircuts, etc. School may stop, but life doesn't.

I know I have been ignoring my blog. Well, not ignoring it, but forgetting? Facebook has become my blog and seriously, that is not the place for it. It is fun to upload pictures and send quick shout outs, but this blog is more appropriate for the other things I want/need to vent or share. So, I like to make it a goal to blog first, then facebook. Let's see how long that lasts!! lol
