Halloweentime at Disneyland

I love Love LOVE this time of year. The weather cools down. The Halloween decorations are displayed. I guess it is because I have an October birthday, that I ADORE Halloween. Maybe I am just "sick." I love the trickery, the spookiness, the ghouls, the silliness, the candy, the monsters, the costumes, Los Dios de los Muertos, Samhain,,,,,,

I enjoy Disney's decor at the resort. *However, I HATE the Jack Skellington Haunted Mansion. Before you go hating me, I am an HM purist. They take away MY Mansion almost half of the year. One month closure for revamping the attraction. Three months of Nightmare Before Christmas. One more month for returning its original state. I appreciate Jack and NBC and it was cute the first few years, but it is getting old and I want my Haunted Mansion to stay intact.*

I rode the Galaxy Ghost Space Mountain. It is okay. I imagine it would be scary for my eight-year-old, but my 11-year-old boy was unfazed. Either he is maturing or it is lame. I had the opportunity to ride it three times; in the front seat, the third row and the last row. The best experience was in the third row. The front seat is too far ahead of the effects and the last row is trying to catch up. I bet anywhere in the middle would be best for the visual. For those who like Knott's Scary Farm and the like, it is mildly amusing.

What would be interesting is to gore up the Big Thunder Mountain!! Make it creepy and scary!

Facebooking

Facebook is fun. That being said, I wish it was more like a blog. But if I wanted to blog, why don't I just blog, right??

So here I am. Trying to blog. I have so much I like to share and I generally do, on Facebook. Even if it is a little blurb, a rant, a quote, a lyric....it sums up my mood for that moment. Sometimes all day. But usually just for the moment.

I am very prolific on Facebook. Duh. I like to people watch and what better voyeurism is there than Facebook??? People post and tag and click and lick and rant and pant and scream and poke and.....
Half of these people wouldn't do half of the things they do on facebook in public, yet they do it on the Internet for the whole world to see. I guess it is that sense of anonymity that let's them cut loose. I admit, I do and say things on Facebook that I wouldn't dare say in mixed company. Then again, there is A LOT I hold back on. Believe me, if you knew half the stuff I THINK, you wouldn't like me very much!
